Playing a game with party stickers: “Sticker Stalker”
If you’re familiar with the game “Sticker Stalker” (also known as “Sticker Ninja”), playing it with vintage travel stickers is even more fun: it will turn your party guests into fancy-looking vintage suitcases! This game requires stealth, agility, deception, and the use of a hidden weapon to stick your opponents!
Set up
You will need to download a set of sticker sheets (12 stickers per sheet is a quantity that works well) and print it on an Avery® White High-Visibility Labels for Laser Printers 5294, 2-1/2″. Alternatively, a full A4 sheet sticker will do the trick; simply cut them off individually by using a round 2.5″ glass or shape, and a cutter. Ideally, each participant should have a different sheet of stickers (ex: airline stickers, animal stickers, Italy, Switzerland, US stickers, and so on), in order to be able to easily determine a winner at the end of the game. As guests enter the party, simply hand them each a sheet of printed vintage stickers.
Rules
The objective is to stick your party stickers on all the guests without them noticing, with each of your stickers going onto a different guest. If they catch you in the act, you will have to take the sticker back and get one placed on you. However, if a guest doesn’t notice a sticker being placed on them immediately, they have to leave it until the end of the night! Who wins? The first one to get rid of all their stickers! You’ll then call all of your supposed victims to the center of the party so they can show everyone how great they look dressed up as a vintage suitcase! And do not forget to take a picture of the result(s) and share it on Instagram with the hashtag #vintralab. Let’s see who has the best-looking “vintage suitcase”!
Alternate version
As each guest arrives, stick the 12 vintage stickers for him/her on their back. These stickers can be any 12 stickers and don’t have to match a specific theme. Each guest must try to “steal” a sticker without getting caught! The first guest who has stolen a sticker from 12 people wins a prize.
Socializing with party stickers: “find my other halves”
This game is a great way to break the ice at a birthday party, a wedding dinner, or a gala event. The idea behind “find my halves” is to put together the two missing pieces of a sticker, encouraging each guest to go on a quest to find their other half/halves. The trick is that each guest receives two halves of two stickers. So they have to find the other two guests they’re “connected” with.
Set up
You will need to download a sheet of 12 stickers for every 12 guests you have (24 stickers if you have 24 guests, 48 stickers if you have 48 guests, or 228 stickers if you have 228 guests, and so on). Then print it on an Avery® White High-Visibility Labels for Laser Printers 5294, 2-1/2″. Alternatively, a full A4 sheet sticker will do the trick; simply cut the labels off individually by using a round 2.5″ glass or shape, and a cutter. You must then cut the stickers in half, and paste together two different halves on a piece of round cardboard. Try to mix all the labels with one another, so each guest has to find the two other halves to his or her sticker.
Rules
The rules are simple: each guest must go in search of his or her two halves in order to fulfill his or her mission. Each half must also find its other missing half so that in the end all the guests got to know each other. It is of course possible to show both halves of the sticker and ask funny questions such as “have you seen the other half of a bear” or “I’m looking for Naples”. Each time a guest has found his two halves, he has to have his picture taken and then share them with the rest of the guests!
In the end, there are no losers, only winners who have made new acquaintances!
